The
Phi Delta Theta Alumni Club serves the
Amarillo/Canyon area. Its primary functions are: (1)
to provide a line of communication between PDT
alumni and Texas Theta Chapter and (2) to organize
social functions and other events for PDT alumni to
stay connected with other Brothers.
The PDT Alumni Club
probably does more than any other alumni club within the Fraternity in
communicating with alumni and having regular events. Functions, such as
tailgate parties prior to Buffalo home football games and rush events
for Texas Theta, are held throughout the year. Also, the Alumni Club
hosts Buffalo Phi Homecoming during WT's Homecoming each fall and has
already scheduled the 45th Anniversary Reunion of
Texas Theta Chapter.
During the 78th Biennial Convention, held June
24-27, 2010 at the Renaissance Orlando Resort at SeaWorld, the Amarillo
Area Alumni Club received the ROBERT W. HOYSGAARD ALUMNI CLUB
ACHIEVEMENT AWARD which is presented annually by the Ft. Lauderdale,
Florida Alumni Club to the alumni club that best advances the ideals of
community service, educational contribution, leadership, and fraternity
service.
CONGRATULATIONS TO BILL BANDY AND GARY CULP
