The purposes for organizing the Corporation are to perform or cause to be performed activities for its members and Phi Delta Theta Fraternity in promotion of the purposes of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and in accordance with §501(c)(7) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, including, but not limited to, participating, either directly or indirectly, in the organization and promotion of events for the Corporation’s members and other alumni of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and in ownership and operations of real property used as a meeting place, dining facility, and living quarters for the Corporations’ members and Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, and to otherwise participate, either directly or indirectly, in the construction, purchase, receipt, lease, acquisition, ownership, holding improving, use, or otherwise dealing with such real property wherever situated.
